The Research Center for AI and IoT, housed within the Faculty of AI and Informatics at Near East University, is a multidisciplinary research and development unit focused on advancing intelligent, context-aware, and human-centered technologies. The center drives innovation in the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the Internet of Things (IoT), emphasizing smart, adaptive, and ethical systems that improve quality of life and transform industries.

Our mission is to produce high-impact research, foster academic-industry collaborations, and contribute to the global development of AI-enabled IoT solutions across domains such as healthcare, smart cities, energy systems, and assistive robotics. The center also places strong emphasis on data privacy, ethical AI, and explainability.

We are in collaboration with both academic and industrial partners, the center has developed and deployed novel systems in edge computing, federated learning, autonomous decision-making, and AI-enhanced communication networks.
