The IoT Workbench at the Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT), Near East University, is a dedicated experimental platform that bridges intelligent systems with real-world connectivity. Designed to facilitate hands-on exploration, the workbench empowers researchers and students to prototype, simulate, and deploy smart IoT solutions across various sectors.

Since its establishment, the IoT Workbench has supported the development of sensor-driven systems, embedded microcontrollers, wireless communication protocols, and edge computing models. The facility is equipped with tools and modules for implementing smart environments such as smart homes, agricultural monitoring systems, wearable health trackers, and industrial IoT frameworks.

Functioning as a collaborative space, the IoT Workbench is central to the center’s mission of advancing interdisciplinary innovation through AI-enhanced automation and real-time data processing. Projects at the workbench integrate cloud platforms, AI-based decision-making algorithms, and secure data transmission technologies to develop scalable, responsive, and intelligent systems that address real-world challenges in healthcare, agriculture, energy, and beyond.
