Since 2015, the DESAM 3D Design, Printing, and Bioprinting Laboratory has been providing services in 3D design, rapid prototyping, device design, and manufacturing. It supports various scientific fields, primarily healthcare. Using 3D reconstruction technology, patient-specific models are created from radiological images and transformed into solid objects through 3D printing. The laboratory focuses on preoperative planning, prosthesis-implant design, and medical device development. Bioprinting studies are conducted using the NEU3D Bioprinter, contributing to fields such as biomaterial development, drug testing, tissue engineering, and cancer research.
