The DESAM Molecular Medicine Diagnosis and Research Laboratory is a center focused on R&D, innovation, and biotechnology in the field of molecular biology. Our laboratory aims to develop innovative solutions for diagnosis and treatment by investigating the genetic etiology of hereditary diseases, rare diseases, and infectious diseases. Our laboratory operates in accordance with international quality standards and conducts the EQA Human Genetics external quality assessment program in collaboration with the MAGI Rare and Genetic Diagnosis Center. In this context, regular quality control analyses are performed, and the most up-to-date molecular diagnostic methods are utilized to enhance the reliability and accuracy of genetic tests. With a multidisciplinary approach, our laboratory supports academic and clinical research, develops innovative projects in the field of biotechnology, and contributes to health sciences. Through national and international collaborations, it aims to lead scientific advancements in genetic and molecular diagnostics.
