Cell and Tissue Culture Laboratory

The DESAM Cell Culture Laboratory provides researchers with opportunities to work in the fields of cancer biology, stem cell research, obesity, biomedical engineering, and 3D bioprinting technologies. In cancer research, the tumor microenvironment, metastasis mechanisms, and drug resistance are studied, while the anticancer effects of natural compounds are investigated. Stem cell studies focus on the differentiation potential of stem cells derived from various sources and their applications in regenerative medicine. In obesity research, adipogenesis mechanisms and metabolic disorders are examined to identify therapeutic targets. Our laboratory conducts studies on artificial tissue modeling, organoid production, and cellular interactions with biomaterials using 3D bioprinting technology. Through these efforts, it contributes to regenerative medicine, drug development, and personalized treatment approaches. With its multidisciplinary structure, the DESAM Cell Culture Laboratory supports both basic and translational research, aiming to develop innovative projects in the fields of biotechnology and health sciences.
