Instrumental Analysis Laboratory 1.

The instrumental analysis lab is mainly a research laboratory under the supervision of the analytical chemistry department. It is used primarily by graduate students at the master's and doctoral levels for carrying out research. It is responsible for graduating several master's and doctoral students, some of whom are the present academic staff of the department of analytical chemistry. High-level undergraduate students also benefit from this facility during their graduation project, as they are motivated and dedicated to conducting cutting-edge research publishable in peer-reviewed journals. Exchange students from Europe also benefit from this facility during the summer exchange program at Near East University, where they learn several instrumental techniques. The second-year undergraduate experiment involving chromatography is also carried out in this laboratory since it houses two high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) instruments. The laboratory does not serve just the analytical chemistry department; it attracts several collaborations within the faculty, such as the pharmacognosy department, and outside the faculty. This laboratory primarily conducts chromatographic separations, which involve separating complex mixtures in various samples.
