Our R&D laboratory specializes in the formulation and development of a wide range of pharmaceutical dosage forms, with a focus on enhancing drug delivery systems. We actively design and evaluate semisolid and biphasic formulations, including emulsions, gels, lotions, liniments, ointments, ovules, suppositories, suspensions, and cosmetic products. Our work extends to liquid and parenteral dosage forms such as solutions, syrups, elixirs, and injectable preparations—some of which have been utilized in outsourced research and animal studies.
Correspondingly, we engage in the formulation and quality assessment of solid dosage forms including powders, tablets, capsules, lozenges, and effervescent granules. This includes advanced research in drug targeting, microencapsulation, nanoparticle delivery, and drug controlled-release profiles. We conduct comprehensive quality control assessments of pharmaceutical products in accordance with international regulatory standards (WHO, FDA, EMA, ICH). At the core of our innovation is the Compaction Simulator Center, equipped with a Stylcam 200R Compaction Simulator and QbD software, enabling the design of robust, regulatory-compliant formulations. As the only center of its kind in North Cyprus and its surrounding region, we collaborate with pharmaceutical companies to support formulation development, product testing, and technical problem-solving. Our laboratory is equipped to support; academic studies, research, and industrial collaborations.
